Luminary Books under new ownership in Gardnerville

Luminary Books in Gardnerville is under new ownership at 1503 U.S. Hwy 395 N. New owner Marissa is stocking books by local authors, including ACES authors J. Butler Kyle and Stephen H. Provost. Kyle’s book No Exit Necessary is among the books at Luminary, and Provost has six titles there: Mark Twain’s Nevada, Sierra Highway, America’s Loneliest Road, Carson City Century, The Only Dragon, and Nightmare’s Eve. Provost will be present for an author signing event at 5:30 p.m. Friday, December 8, at the store. Luminary is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
