The ACES Anthology 2023
ACES of Northern Nevada is proud to present The ACES Anthology, a collection featuring 25 short stories and poems from some of the region’s outstanding writers, edited by ACES founder Stephen H. Provost.
Many of the stories in this collection are set in the Northern Nevada region, whether in the present day, the recent past, or in the colorful era of the Old West. In the pages of this anthology, you'll read stories of faerie creatures, intrepid ghost hunters, a singing cowboy, aliens, and pioneers. You'll find murder mysteries, touching stories of love and loss, creative poetry, a touch of horror, and a few unexpected twists.
The ACES Anthology features established writers—including award-winning and bestselling authors—alongside emerging authors. Whether traditionally or independently published, what they have in common is a passion for writing and a love of the singular swath of land that stretches from Lake Tahoe west to Ely and Elko: a land of majestic mountains, painted deserts, bustling cities, and ghost towns.
